As the discussions on the solution of the Kurdish issue entered a new phase with Abdullah Öcalan's call, "After the weapons are silenced the negotiation process must start," said Lami Özgen, who was a membet of the Wise People's Delegation in 2013.
Stating that Abdullah Öcalan's call can be finalised with mutual steps of goodwill, "It is the turn of the government and the state. The parliament must also take responsibility at this point," said Ercan Yılmaz, Chair of IHD Amed Branch.
KNK Co-chair Zeyneb Murad stated that Abdullah Öcalan's call is the formula for a solution and said, "We are on the verge of a new beginnng. The historic call is the beginning of a new perspective of struggle."
NPG Headquarters Command stated that PKK's ceasefire declaration is valid for all its forces and said, "This decision must be fully complied with."
