Appeal against Melek İpek's imprisonment rejected by court

ANTALYA – The appeal against the imprisonment of Melek İpek who killed Ramazan İpek subjecting her to violence in self defense, was rejected by Antalya 1st Criminal Court of Peace.

 
Melek İpek (31), who had to kill her husband Ramazan İpek (36) in self defense to survive was arrested by the court on January 9. 
 
İpek's attorneys appealed to the decision of Antalya 1st Criminal Court of Peace on January 15. 
 
Antalya 1st Criminal Court of Peace rejected the appeal and decided continuation of detention for Melek İpek.
