
Appeal against Melek İpek's imprisonment rejected by court

	ANTALYA – The appeal against the imprisonment of Melek İpek who killed Ramazan İpek subjecting her to violence in self defense, was rejected by Antalya 1st Criminal Court of Peace.

	&nbsp;

	Melek İpek (31), who had to kill her husband Ramazan İpek (36) in self defense to survive was arrested by the court on January 9.&nbsp;

	&nbsp;

	İpek's attorneys appealed to the decision of Antalya 1st Criminal Court of Peace on January 15.&nbsp;

	&nbsp;

	Antalya 1st Criminal Court of Peace rejected the appeal and decided continuation of detention for Melek İpek.
