Mezopotamya Agency (MA) reporter Zeynep Durgut, who uncovered the "Prostitution Gang" in Şirnex in 2013 , which involved 25 people including Tatar family, with the news she reported on 24 February, was threatened by the family of Kenan Tatar, who is named as the "gang leader" in the file.
Zeynep Durgut received a phone call from the relatives of Kenan Tatar, the perpetrator in the file. During the call, she was threatened with the following words: “We know who you are, where you come from. I have investigated you. You are coming here to stir things up. We will not let you go. You will not get away with this.”
She will file a criminal complaint regarding the threats she was subjected to.
