Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) former Co-Chair Figen Yüksekdağ evaluated the Kobanê indictment prepared against her from the Kocaeli (Kandıra) F Type Closed Prison. Yüksekdağ who sent a letter to Mesopotamia Agency on January 13, defined the Kobané indictment as a document of tragedy.

 

Yüksekdağ emphasized that the indictment was a fiasco despite the perception operations and manipulations. Yuksekdağ said the Kobanê indictment was the revenge for the defeat of ISIS and noted that the demonstrations organized in solidarity with Kobanê was the honour of the great human history.

JUDICIAL SYSTEM USED AS A WEAPON FOR THIS POLITICAL COUP

 

"The Kobané indictment is now ready. We can say that it is a document of lies, slanders and shamelessness. Also in terms of the legal system of Turkey, it is a document of tragedy. They waited 6 years, they drowned the public in lies and manipulation. They toyed with it, carried out countless operations and found so called evidences, but the outcome was a fiasco. We can call this a coup by the hand of the judiciary in a country where AKP- MHP government calls everyone terrorists other than themselves.

 

PUTTING FASCISM ON TRIAL

 

The political power is also preparing for an early election beside the discussions on closing down the HDP and the Kobané indictment. This is a corrupt strategy that has only one hope and that is to neutralize the HDP to be able to win. The only outcome would be to condemn the people of Turkey to fascism. That's why the reactions of the democratic and revolutionary public opinion is very important in the Kobané trial. This process should be instrumental in the rise of the movement to claim total democracy, political freedoms and put fascism on trial.

 

HONOUR OF THE HUMANITY

 

We will try to fulfill our duty in the best way as we have done so far. Our people, women should not have the slightest doubt about this. Those who think that they can obscure great truths with big lies and conspiracies will be the victims of their own mistakes. Everyone should know that 6-8 October democratic Kobané resistance and the demonstrations carried out in solidarity with Kobané was the honour of the humanity. Those who try to condemn this movement with lies, provocations, and fuss to cover up their own crimes will be condemned by the power of truth and righteousness. The pain and anger for the ones ww have lost are still fresh in our hearts. The political power wronged the Kurdish people by discriminating even the dead. Those who did not do anything to find those killers knew very well that they were the responsible party for those deaths.

 

THIS CASE WILL NOT BE CLOSED LIKE THIS

 

One of the most important reasons was the defeat of their strategic partner ISIS. They tried to punish the people that defeated ISIS. If they would be border neighbors with those rapist killer gangs, they would not be this much bothered by the solidarity actions for Kobané. In this respect, this case against us is a revenge for the defeat of the ISIS and a continuation of Turkey's support for similar gangs like that in Syria. They needed this great conspiracy to cover up their affiliation with these contra structures. But this case will not be closed like this.

 

HISTORICAL FLOW WILL NOT CHANGE

 

We have never been this right or confident. We will put a pure case of humanity on trial. We will be the ones to give credit where it is due just like we did in every case blood soaked by the governments.Those who attack the desire of freedom and justice of our peoples will be drowned in the dark waters of their own conspiracy. Those who organized this political coup against HDP and against us, those who collaborated with them will go down as criminals because whatever the outcome of this fabricated case will be, the historical flow will not change."
