The third hearing of the lawsuit filed against Diyarbakır Kocaköy Municipality Co-Mayor Rojda Nazlıer, who was dismissed from office and replaced by a trustee was charged with 'being a member of an illergal organization'. The hearing at the 11th High Criminal Court in Diyarbakır was closed in the first session due to the tension between HDP deputies and the court board. Nazlıer attended the hearing through the Audio and Video Information System (SEGBİS) from Kayseri Bünyan Women's Closed Prison, where she is being held. His lawyers, Resul Tamur, Diyar Çetedir and Bawer Mızrak were also present at the hearing. Nazlıer's mother Zahide Nazlıer waited at the door of the courtroom throughout the trial.

Nazlıer's attorneys who stated that there is no other investigation about their client ever before, said that the statements of the anonymous witnesses were included to the file later on. The attorneys who define the case as a 'political case', requested the release of their client.

After a short break, the court board decided  continuation of detention of Nazlıer on the grounds of "strong crime suspicion".

The hearing was postponed to 14 September.
