Police raid to Vatan family's home

ANKARA - The house of mother Atike Vatan was raided after she reacted to the detention of Rabia Naz Vatan's father being taken into custody. Mother Vatan said: "Scores of police raided my home. They treated me like a murderer, like an outlaw and searched for evidence in my house."

Şaban Vatan, father of 11 year old Rabia Naz Vatan who was suspiciously killed in the Eynesil district of Giresun, was taken into custody early this morning. Atike Vatan who heard that her husband was detained by the police, said: "My husband called me and told me that his phone is about to be confiscated and told me to inform everyone."
 
Vatan who reacted to the detention of her husband shared a video of herself and said: "They are trying to silence my husband because he took a step and he came close to revealing what happened to our daughter. I am trying to get justice for my husband with my 40 day old baby on my lap. I am trying to be heard. Where is my government?"
 
 
Mother Atike Vatan who announced that their house was raided by the police after the video, said: "Scores of police raided my home. They treated me like a murderer, like an outlaw and searched for evidence in my house. haven't done this much searching for my daughter. My house is a mess. I stuck with the baby in my lap. They said there was a warrant. They threw out an old tablet, confiscated a phone that I have forgotten even existed. They ransacked the whole house. They also confiscated my phone, they also confiscated the phones of my friends who were at the house at that time."
