In Diyarbakır, 418 people were detained in operations carried out in 29 provinces simultaneously with the dismissal of Mardin and Van metropolitan mayors by decision of the Ministry of Interior on August 19. With the operations in Diyarbakir, 84 people, including those detained during protests in the city against trustee appointments, were brought to the Diyarbakir Courthouse last night.
