DERSIM - Dersim Co-Mayor Cevdet Konak and Pulur mayor Mustafa Sarıgül were sentenced to 6 years and 3 months in prison.
The final hearing of the case filed against Dersim Co-mayor Cevdet Konak on charges of “membership in a terrorist organization” was held at the Tunceli High Criminal Court. Political party representatives attended the hearing. The lawyers who made their defenses at the hearing requested acquittal for their clients.
The court sentenced Konak to 6 years and 3 months in prison.
SARIGÜL ALSO SENTENCED
Pulur (Ovacık) Mayor Mustafa Sarıgül, who was tried within the scope of the same file, was also sentenced to 6 years and 3 months in prison on charges of “membership in a terrorist organization.”
