The 256th issue of the Kurdish weekly newspaper Xwebûn was published with the headline “Li dijî qirkirin, talankirin û diziyê li ber xwe bidin (Resist against massacre, plunder and theft)”.
In this issue of the newspaper, attention was drawn to the appointment of trustees to municipalities run by the Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party). The headline pointed out that trustees were appointed to municipalities a total of 147 times in 8 years.
The front page of the newspaper featured the big march in Cologne on November 16 for the physical freedom of PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan.
