A trustee was appointed to the Xelfetî (Halfeti) Municipality of Riha (Urfa), which was governed by the Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party). Co-Mayor Saniye Bayram, who was replaced by a trustee, reacted to the appointment of a trustee.
Bayram went to the municipality building upon the news of the trustee appointment. “Shame on you! Don't do this. You sent 10 inspectors and they found nothing. The trustee stole here, you did nothing. Şeref Albayrak stole a lot. This people have woken up. If there is an election tomorrow, we will win again. We will always win,” she said.
After the appointment of the trustee, citizens started to gather in front of the municipality building.
