Shutters close in Wan

WAN- Protests that started yesterday in the city after the certificate of election belonging to Metropolitan Municipality Co-mayor Abdullah Zeydan was given to the AKP candidate continued until early morning hour. While thousands of people did not leave the streets, all roads in the neighborhoods were barricaded and closed. 
Reactions grew like an avalanche after the police attacked with all kinds of violent means. An anti-riot was set on fire during the protests that took place on the busiest streets in the city center such as Cumhuriyet, Ordu, Maraş, Milli Egemenlik, Akköprü, Ikinisan, Kışla, Orhan Doğan. Advertising signs, garbage bins and flower pots were placed in the middle of the road and barricades were set up. While the people were retreating to their homes after sahur, the police entered the neighborhoods and randomly sprayed tear gas into the houses and buildings. The police entered a street in Halilağa District with a civilian vehicle and sprayed gas on the streets and buildings until the early morning hour.
 
TRADESMEN DID NOT OPEN THE SHUTTERS
 
In the city where tradesmen do not open their shutters, a march will be held from 7 different points to the city center today at 11:00 to protest the AKP coup. DEM Party Co-Chairs Tülay Hatimoğulları and Tuncer Bakırhan and DBP Co-Chair Keskin Bayındır, as well as representatives of non-governmental organizations, will attend the march to be held in the city center and make a press statement in Feqiyê Teyran Park.
 
PEOPLE ARE ON THE STREET AGAIN
 
Police raided hundreds of houses in the morning and detained many people. Almost all the houses on Sürmeli street in Xaçort District were raided. Many people detained were tortured. People are taking to the streets again and continuing their protests against the police violence and oppression that is reflected in their homes.
 
REINFORCEMENT POLICE TEAMS WERE BROUGHT
 
As the public's reaction increased, thousands of police officers were dispatched to Wan from all surrounding cities. The dispatched police officers were transported to the city center with the buses of the Wan Metropolitan Municipality, which is still under trustee management. It was noteworthy that there were police officers in the municipal buses parked on all the busy streets of the city in the morning. Anti-riots have been placed in all the side streets of the city, and riot police are stationed in the main arteries.
