Investigation against ‘Movement of the Nameless’: 3 people arrested

İSTANBUL - Taken into custody as part of an investigation against the “Movement of the Nameless”, Şehmus Kavak, Misli Cihan Şenleten and Özgür Doğuş Erhan have been arrested on charge of “insulting the President.”
 
Detained as part of an investigation against the "Movement of the Nameless" (İsimsizler Hareketi) on September 25, Şehmus Kavak, Misli Cihan Şenleten and Özgür Doğuş Erhan have been arrested.
 
In operations conducted by the İstanbul Fight Against Cyber Crimes Bureau on September 25, 19 people were taken into custody. Journalist Hakan Gülseven was released after deposing at the security directorate.
 
The remaining 18 people were referred to the courthouse. 11 people, including writer Temel Demirer, have been released following their depositions at the prosecutor's office. Kavak, Şenleten and Erhan were referred to court to be arrested while lawyer Tamer Doğan, Özen Kulaçoğlu, İsmail Keleş and Tayfun Uçar were requested to be released on probation.
 
3 PEOPLE ARRESTED
 
The court has ruled that Doğan, Kulaçoğlu, Keleş and Uçar shall be released with an international travel ban and Kavak, Şenleten and Erhan shall be arrested on charge of "insulting the President."

Making a statement in front of the İstanbul Courthouse in Çağlayan, writer Temel Demirer has said, "While they are attempting to get us into trouble based on baseless files, we are multiplying. We are right, we will win."
