Kaya family of 10 people returning from a picnic at 21.00 pm local time yesterday evening in Bayrampasa district of Istanbul was beaten and detained by the police because they were listening to a Kurdish song in their car. 

 

Wile 3 of 10 people including Zeynep Yaman, a child and 7 months pregnant woman, were released, 7 of them were referred to Caglayan Courthouse after their statements at the police station. 

 

Ahmet Kaya, Umut Kaya and Yakup Kaya were referred to the court with the request for arrest.
