Turkey's attacks against the Federated Kurdistan Region continue. In the HPG statement published on Fırat News Agency (ANF), it was stated that Turkey's attacks from both air and land continue uninterruptedly. The statement said that chemical gas and phosphorus bombs were used in the latest attacks. It was stated that there were 4 banned bomb attacks on 7-8 April.
The statement said that a total of 849 attacks were carried out from 5 April to 9 April, both from the air and on the ground.
PKK HAD DECLARED A CEASEFIRE
Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan made a "Call for Peace and Democratic Society" on 27 February. Afterwards, the PKK announced that it would comply the call and decided to ceasefire.
