Najmaddin Mohammed said, "Due to the failure of Kurdistan Regional Government officials to respond to our demands, we have decided not to end the strike and to continue our civil protest. We do not want our fate to be in the hands of an irresponsible authority; we demand that our salaries be paid by the federal government."
