DÊRSIM - The appointment trustee to Dêrsim Municipality was protested with a mass march in the city.
Thoudands of people came together at Sanat Street against the appointment of trustee to Dêrsim Municipality with the order of the Ministry of Interior. Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) Co-Chair Tülay Hatimoğulları, Democratic Regions Party (DBP) Co-Chair Çiğdem Kılıçgün Uçar and Keskin Bayındır, Socialist Party of the Oppressed (ESP) Co-Chair Murat Çepni, among others, marched from Sanat Street to Seyid Rıza Square.
During the march, slogans such as "Trustee get out of Dêrsim", "We will win by resisting", "Trustee will go, we will stay" and "No to the usurpation of will" were chanted. In addition, banner reading "This is a people's warning, leave the municipalities immediately" was carried.
