ANKARA - Emine Şenyaşar, who continues her protest in Parliament, said she will continue her protest until she meets with AKP Chair and President Tayyip Erdoğan.
Emine Şenyaşar, whose husband and two sons were murdered and one son was arrested in an attack carried out by the bodyguards and relatives of former AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız on June 14, 2018 in Pirsûs (Suruç) district of Riha (Urfa), continued her Justice Watch at the Parliament on the 10th day.
Stating that she has many health problems, Şenyaşar reiterated her demand for justice.
Drawing attention to the massacre and its aftermath, Şenyaşar stated that she continued her protest despite undergoing surgery. Şenyaşar reiterated her demand for a meeting with AKP Chair and President Tayyip Erdoğan and said that he will continue his protest in the Parliament until this meeting takes place.
Calling for the release of her imprisoned son Fadıl Şenyaşar, Şenyaşar said: “They persecuted us. They killed my children and my husband. They are keeping my son in a cell. Release my son.”
Şenyaşar was visited by Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) Group Deputy Chair Gülüstan Kılıç Koçyiğit.
