HPG made a statement about the attack by KDP-affiliated forces in the Federated Kurdistan Region yesterday. In the statement published in Fırat News Agency (ANF), it was stated that while HPG members were advancing towards Girê Amediyê with 2 vehicles, they were ambushed by KDP forces in the Sergelê district. In the statement, it was pointed out that the attack was made with a dochka and said: "Our forces responded by getting off their vehicles and a conflict occurred for a while. Meanwhile, Turkish reconnaissance planes also stepped in and started flying."
In the statement, it was stated that 2 HPG members were injured due to the attack and the vehicles, which became unusable, were later bombed by Turkish warplanes. The statement said: "We hope that such situations will not be repeated again. Despite everything, we will continue to act responsibly on our part."
