AMED - At least 30 young people were beaten and detained after the DEM Party Youth Congress in Amed.
 
Many young people were detained after the 1st Ordinary Congress of the People's Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) Youth Council, held in Rezan (Bağlar) district of Amed, with the motto "Vejînek Ciwan (Youth Resurrection)". The police beat and detained at least 30 young people. Young people shouted the slogan "We will win by resisting."
