Great damage occurred due to Turkey's attacks targeting the infrastructure in Northern and Eastern Syria. As a result of the attack carried out between October 4-11. 47 people lost their lives and more than 59 people were injured. According to the Hawar News Agency (ANHA); Rimêlan Oil Field Management shared a report on the areas damaged by the attacks.
The report stated that more than 1 billion dollars of damage occurred. Rimêlan Oil Field (Central) Manager Ehmed Ibrahim said: "The international forces and human rights organizations acted 'hypocritically' against the attacks on Northern and Eastern Syria. They were able to repair some areas that were out of service in a short time, thanks to the equipment in the warehouses for emergencies. The other areas are also under repair."
