5 regions of Şirnex(Şırnak)'s Basa (Güçlükonak) district have been banned from entering and exiting for 15 days by Şırnak Governorship. Among the banned areas is the village and countryside of Bana (Ormaniçi), where there has been a military blockade for about 2 months.

In the governor's statement, 750 Rk. He stated that the areas between Tepe, Ormaniçi Creek, 602 Rk.Tepe, north of the Tigris River, and rural areas east of Ormaniçi Village Road are prohibited for entry and exit and all civil activities between September 15, 2023 (inclusive) and September 29, 2023 (included).

CITIZENS MADE A CALL FOR AWARENESS

The villagers said: "New bans are constantly being introduced and that we were subjected to pressure from the soldiers saying, 'You will not take your animals out of the barn until the ban is over.' Both we as citizens and animals were negatively affected by the bans. The soldiers made the announcement from the village mosque yesterday evening. Soldiers stated that it is forbidden to go out of the village and graze animals. We have been interrogated for more than a month when entering and exiting the village. These prohibitions have damaged the psychology of our children."
The villagers called for public awareness and asked not to remain silent about the human rights violations.
