WAN - Metin Tunç, the village ranger who murdered Birsen Tunç and his father Fecri Tunç and injured 2 women in Panos, was arrested.
In Qela Quli (Tepeönü) village of Agirî's Panos (Patnos) district, village ranger Metin Tunç (27) killed Birsen Tunç (24), whom he was married to, (who was learned to have systematically subjected her to violence with a firearm the previous day) and his brother-in-law Fecri Tunç ( 32), he also seriously injured his relatives Hatun Tunç and Nuriye Tunç. Ranger Tunç escaped from the scene after the attack and lost track of him.
RANGER TUNÇ WAS ARRESTED
Ranger Metin Tunç was detained by soldiers in Qela Quli village, where he resided, yesterday morning. Tunç, who was referred to the Patnos Courthouse after the interrogation at the Patnos Police Department, continued until late hours, and was referred to the Criminal Court of Peace with a request for arrest after the prosecutor's office interrogation. Tunç, whose statement was taken at the judge's office, was arrested on the charge of "deliberate murder".
Tunç was sent to Patnos Type L Prison.
