ŞIRNEX - A person was detained in the besieged village of Bilbês in Elkê. It was reported that conflict and forest fire continued in the Bêtkar Valley in Qileban.
Entries and exits to the countryside of Bilbês village in Sirnex(Şırnak)'s Elkê (Beytüşşebap) district were banned on July 29. In the statement made by the Governor's Office, it was stated that the ban covers "Rural areas of (Bilbês village rural) Red Creek, Öküzburun Tepe, Siyahçeşme Creek, Ballı Creek" and will continue until August 4. After the ban decision, Bilbês village and its surroundings were besieged by the soldiers. Village residents are not allowed to go to their vineyards, gardens and fields. Shepherds are also allowed to take animals up to a certain point.
RAIDING OF THE HOUSES
While the blockade continued, the soldiers raided the house of the Jin family in the village yesterday morning. Izzettin Cin was detained in the raid. It was also learned that a detention order was issued for two of Cin's sons, and a raid was carried out on the house of one of his sons, who had a detention order, in Silopiya (Silopi). Doors and windows were broken in house raids, and the items found in the house were dispersed. It was stated that during the house raid in Silopiya, the police prepared a report stating that no damage was done to the house, and that the report was signed without considering the objections of the people in the house.
Detained Jin is being held in Şırnak 23rd Gendarmerie Border Division Command. It was learned that there was a "restriction" decision in his file. It was noted that different names were also called to testify by the gendarmerie within the scope of the same investigation.
