TEKİRDAĞ - HDP PM member Özcan Teker, who was detained in Istanbul, was arrested on charges of "being a member of a terrorist organization".
Özcan Teker, a member of the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Party Council (PM), was detained in a textile workshop in Istanbul Esenyurt as part of an investigation conducted by the Tekirdağ Chief Public Prosecutor's Office on June 23.
Teker, who was taken to the Tekirdağ Police Department, was arrested by the court to which he was transferred after his statement to the prosecutor's office. Teker was transferred to Muratlı Type T Prison. It was learned that the allegation of "being a member of a terrorist organization" was directed against Teker.
