7 people detained in Antalya

ANTALYA - 7 people were detained on the grounds that they participated in Newroz and shouted slogans.
 
The Antalya Chief Public Prosecutor's Office launched an investigation against 7 people for allegedly "propagandizing for a terrorist organization" by chanting slogans during the Newroz celebration held in front of Antalya Kepez Turgut Özal Sports Hall on March 19. Seven people were detained as part of the investigation. It is expected that 7 people who were taken into custody in the police station on charges of "making propaganda for a terrorist organization" will be transferred to the Antalya Courthouse after the completion of their procedures at the police station today.
