NEWS CENTER - The perpetrator of the Paris Massacre, who was taken to the psychiatry clinic by the Prosecutor's Office on grounds of psychologicak health problems, was taken into custody again.
William M. the perpetrator of the attack against Emine Kara (Evin Goyi), a member of the Kurdistan Communities Union (KCK) Executive Council and one of the pioneers of the Kurdish women's movement, Mîr Perwer (from the Cultural Movement) and Abdurrahman Kızıl was taken into custody again. It was decided that the perpetrator, who was taken to the psychiatry clinic by the Paris prosecutor's office on the grounds of psychological health problems was healthy enough for detention. Following the decision, the perpetrator was taken into custody again at 16:25 European time.
BACKGROUND
69-year-old perpetrator William M., who also attacked a Kurdish restaurant and a Kurdish hairdresser on the same street as Ahmet Kaya Kurdish Cultural Center, which was his first target was detained by the police after he was caught by the public with his gun. One day after the massacre, the Paris Prosecutor's Office announced that the perpetrator was taken to the Psychiatric Hospital of the Paris Police Department. After the perpetrator's psychiatric examination, the prosecutor's office said, "The doctor who examined the suspect this afternoon declared that the health condition of the person concerned was not suitable for the detention measures."
