NEWS CENTER - The image of the banned gas bomb used by Turkey in Zap, Avaşîn and Metîna has been published.
While Turkey's attacks on the Zap, Avaşîn and Metîna areas of the Federated Kurdistan Region continue, the use of chemical and banned weapons is frequently on the agenda. In the news in the ANF, the image of the bomb used in Werxelê and written "Gas Hand Grenade" was published.
BANNED GASES
It is stated that the bombs in question are prohibited in the Convention on the Prohibition of the Development, Production, Stockpiling and Use and Destruction of Chemical Weapons, which was opened for signature in Paris on January 13, 1993 and entered into force in 1997. Turkey is among the 193 signatory countries.
The Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) also counts tear gas as a chemical weapon if used in combat.
