ANKARA - The Ministry of Defense made a statement about the air strikes against Kobanê, which became a target after the Istanbul explosion, and said: "it's time for reckoning".
Turkish warplanes bombed the Dêrik, Shehba and Zirgan regions of the region, especially the Kobanê city of Northern and Eastern Syria. After the bombardment, air activity continues in the region.
In a post on its official Twitter account, the Ministry of Defense, referring to the bomb attack in Istanbul on November 13, said, “It's time for reckoning! The scoundrels are being held accountable for their treacherous attacks!”
KOBANÊ TARGETED
As a result of the bomb attack carried out on Istiklal Avenue in Istanbul, Taksim on November 13, 6 people lost their lives and 81 people were injured. After the attack, AKP officials, especially Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu, claimed that the attacker came from the city of Kobanê in Northern and Eastern Syria.
In his first statement, Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu claimed that the aggressor Alham Albashir received special training in Kobanê and came to Turkey via Afrin.
SDF POINTED TO THE SNA
The Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), Mazloum Abdi, denied the allegations and pointed out that behind the woman shown as the aggressor was the Syrian National Army (SMO), which is under the control of Turkey.
VERYING STATEMENTS FROM SOYLU
Claiming in his first statement that Albashir came from Kobanê, Soylu claimed that Albashir came from Minbîc this time in the Parliamentary Planning and Budget Committee on November 18.
THE WAY FOR THE ATTACK HAS BEEN PAVED
In addition to Soylu, the authorities paved the way for the attack on Northern and Eastern Syria by targeting Kobanê, despite all the contradictions.
The statement of the Ministry of Defense was also interpreted as "revenge" for the Istanbul explosion.
