URFA - On the 615th day of the sit-in, the Şenyaşar family said: " We struggle for a dignified life."
The Justice Watch carried out by the Şenyaşar family has reached day 614. The sit-in was launched on March 9, 2021 by Emine Şenyaşar, who lost her husband and two sons as a result of the attack carried out by AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız's bodyguards and relatives in the Pirsûs (Suruç) province of Riha, on June 14, 2018. Due to the fact that the courthouse is closed for the weekend, the family continues its sit-in at their home in the town of Suruç.
'DEATH BECAME NORMAL'
The family shared the following from Twitter: "Everyday people are killed in our region and we became a society that considers this normal. Change and development should be focused on people and society before the economy. Our struggle is to live and let live with dignity."
