NEWS CENTER - 11 Kurdish journalists were detained with house raids in Ankara and 6 provinces.

 

Simultaneous raids were carried out on many houses in Ankara, Istanbul, Van, Diyarbakır, Urfa, Mersin and Mardin in the morning within the scope of the investigation carried out against journalists by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. Mezopotamya Agency (MA) Editor-in-Chief Diren Yurtsever, reporters Deniz Nazlım, Selman Güzelyüz, Zemo Ağgöz, Berivan Altan, Hakan Yalçın, Emrullah Acar and Ceylan Şahinli, and JINNEWS reporters Habibe Eren and Öznur Değer were detained during the raids. It has been learned that journalists were detained in different cities will be taken to Ankara within the scope of the file with a restriction decision.
