'Helicopters hit and downed are documented'

NEWS CENTER - Stating that Turkey's attacks continue with technical and chemical weapons because Turkey can not advance on land, HPG Central Headquarters Commander Haki Armanc said that all of the soldiers who lost their lives and the helicopters that were hit or downed are documented.

As the AKP's attacks on the Zap, Metîna and Avaşîn regions of the Federated Kurdistan Region in cooperation with the KDP continues, Haki Armanc, one of the HPG Central Headquarters Commanders, spoke to  Fırat News Agency (ANF) about the developments in the region. Pointing out that Turkey can not advance on land in the Zap region, Armanc said: “They cover away everytime they hear a gun shot. They are defated and devestated in Zap. One wonders how will they get out?"

Stating that the attacks started with an air strike on April 14, Armanc said: "On April 17, land attacks against Zap started. The attack on the Federated Kurdistan Region developed within the framework of the 'National Pact'. Turkey wants to turn the war between Russia and Ukraine into an opportunity. The AKP is carrying out attacks to maintain its own power. Erdogan is spending all the means of the Turkish people and the state so that he can maintain his own power. The Turkish state has not received any results. Our comrades stood up against the operation with many successful actions and stopped the operation. The Turkish state is currently experiencing a blockage, especially in Kurojahro.”

'WE HAVE THE DOCUMENTS'

Speaking about the helicopters that were made to crash by the HPG, Armanc said, “Our friends collected the IDs of the soldiers from their dead bodies. The dead count is out there in the open. No one admits to these facts. No journalists or intellectuals in Turkey asks about these. No one asks about the whereabouts of the soldiers that die in the clashes. The fascist and genocidal Turkish state made its citizens deaf and blind. No one asks what is happening in the war. We have their guns. We got those guns from their bodies. Turkish state does not even admit to their deaths. No problem, they can hide the facts from their people. Our people should know that this is psychological warfare. They landed all those soldiers here. Guerilla have been here for a long time. No one asks what happened to these soldiers. We have documented everything. The soldiers that died, the helicopters that crashed or damaged. We have documents of everything. No television shows these documents. No newspaper writes about it. This is how Turkey maintains this war. They lie about being successful in the operation to prolongue the war."

'OUR PEOPLE SHOULD DO THEIR PART'

Stating that Turkey continues its attacks with chemical and technical weapons, Armanc said: "Our people should know that we will stop the enemy. They will be crushed. There are all signs of what is going to happen. The enemy wants to prolongue this war with fear and anxiety. Our people should do their part. We are face to face with an attack that lacks morality, that lacks principles. Freedom fighters are protecting the gains of our people. They are sacrificing themselves for it. They are doing everything for it."
