ERDOĞAN'S WORD REMEMBERED
The family recalled a speech that Tayyip Erdoğan gave after the Soma mining disaster in 2014, when he was Prime Minister. Erdogan referred to Ömer's saying, "If a wolf catches a lamb on the banks of the Tigris, Omer will be held accountable for it. Even a sheep caught by a wolf on the edge of the Tigris is under my responsibility." The family shared the following message from their Twitter account, reminding Erdogan's words, "Where is the Prime Minister who took responsibility for the sheep caught by the wolf on the banks of the Tigris? There is no one in Turkey who does not know about this cruelty and this unlawfulness at the Şanlıurfa Courthouse”.
