URFA - Continuing the Justice Watch, Şenyaşar family said: "If we are in the same boat, why is this cruelty?"
Emine Şenyaşar, who lost her husband and two sons in a massacre carried out by the AKP Deputy İbrahim Halil Yıldız's bodyguards and relatives on June 14, 2018 in the Suruç district of Urfa, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar, who was injured in the same attack, are continuing the sit in in front of the Urfa Courthouse. The sit in, launched on March 9, 2021, is on its 355th day. Mother and son continues the sit-in at their house in Suruç because the courthouse is closed on weekends.
The family shared the following message from their Twitter account: "An ambulance going to Ukraine from Turkey was attacked. If the photographs of this ambulance were published on the front page, the AKP followers would take to the streets in anger. An ambulance was attacked in Urfa and three people died as a result. Those who attacked that ambulance was rewarded. If we are in the same boat, why is this cruelty?"
