The death toll rises in Iran and Rojhilat 2026-02-11 13:42:13 NEWS CENTER – HRANA has announced that the number of people killed in protests in Iran and Rojhilat has reached 7 thousand while the number of those detained is approaching 53 thousand.    The Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA) has published a report on the verifiable toll of the protests that have continued in Iran and Rojhilat since 28 December 2025. Since the beginning of the protests, 6,982 people have been killed, 11,022 injured, and 52,622 detained by the regime across Iran and Rojhilat.   According to the report, which covers a 45-day period, the total number of confirmed deaths is 6,984. Of these, 214 were individuals affiliated with regime forces, while 65 were recorded as civilians who did not participate in the protests. According to the report, 6,490 protesters, including 215 children, were killed by regime forces.   The report noted that 11,730 reported deaths are under investigation and that 18,022 people were injured during the protests. The report stated that 52,623 people, including 135 students, were arrested, and that the number of videos published by pro-regime media outlets under the name of "confessions," obtained through forced confessions, had reached 335. On the other hand, it was noted that 11,051 people were summoned for questioning in connection with the protests.
