İSTANBUL - HDP Mp Ali Kenanoğlu stated that Turkey should abandon the policy of creating conflict in the foreign policy and get back to the table assuming a more peaceful policy.

Following the termination of the dialogue process between the PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan and the state between 2013 and 2015, the government's foreign policy drove the country into an inextricable situation. The insistence of the government on the policies that also plunge the country's economy into a crisis makes the current situation even worse.

Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Istanbul MP Ali Kenanoğlu evaluated the government's war policies in the region, in the country and in the Middle East.

Kenanoğlu pointed out that with the termination of the dialogue process, the government's policy towards the Kurds is directly linked to each other, and said that the operations carried out in Syria and the Federated Kurdistan Region stemmed from this.

Saying that the government wanted the Kurdish forces in the region to fight against the regime in a structure similar to the FSA with the start of the Syrian war, Kenanoğlu said, “However, the attitude of the Kurdish forces there was very clear. The Kurds pursued a policy of protecting themselves and responding to the attacks that would occur in the structure they formed with their people in their geography. They refused to pursue any further war policy. But The Kurds' creating a more free life in the region in Syria, Iran, Iraq, namely, in the regions other than Turkey, would pose a threat to Turkey.

Due to this, the war process started with the end of the solution process. Erdoğan then identified himself with the deep state structure and implemented a policy of war both inside and outside the country.  In this sense, all of his policies in Rojava, Syria, and Iraqi Kurdistan have turned into a policy of war and an annihilation towards the Kurds.

Underlining that Turkey has to go back to a peacful policy, Kenanoğlu said: "We have to end this policy of tension and confrontation. We should abandon all kinds of tension both in the Kurdish soil and in Aegean and Mediterranean. Turkey must turn back to the table. You can not speak of politics in the point of a gun. We will continue to discuss and follow this."
