
'Democracy march' in Ankara

	ANKARA - The 'March for democracy against the coup' which was launched by HDP on June 15, started from two different cities in Turkey, Hakkari in the east and Edirne in the west; have reached Ankara despite all prohibitions. The group will make a press release in the Parliament Park and end the march.

	Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Central Executive Committee (MYK) have decided to march for democracy following the appointment of trustees to their municipalities, the arrests of Democratic Society Congress (DTK) Co-Chair Leyla Güven and HDP Diyarbakır MP Musa Farisoğulları. The march started from two different points. One group marched from Edirne in the west where former HDP Co-chair Selahattin Demirtaş is imprisoned, and Hakkari in the east where Leyla Güven elected MP. Both groups who started marching on June 15, arrived at Ankara on the sixth day of the march.

	IN ANKARA ON THE SIXTH DAY

	Along the way, emphasis was made on the trustee policies of the government, the arrests of the elected MPs, the MPs being stripped off their status as MPs, the isolation on PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan, the democratic solution to the Kurdish question and the policies of the government both in Turkey and in the region.

	&nbsp;

	The two groups that met in Ankara on their 6th day will make a press release in the Parliament Park soon.
