NEWS CENTER - Erdoğan, responding to the questions of the US Senators invited by US President Donald Trump, said:“We need to distinguish one thing in particular. Kurds and terrorists. It is the PYD / YPG you refer to as Kurdish. These are terrorist organizations."

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with US President Donald Trump and later met with US senators invited by Trump. Answering the questions of senators, Erdogan reacted to the statements of the senators about the Kurds.

US House of Representatives and a senator recalled the Armenian genocide bill of sanctions against Turkey in the Assembly and said: "We have some concerns. The S-400 system is not compatible with the F-35s. The second is about the Kurds. Together with the United States, they fought against our common enemies (ISIS). And there are serious concerns. We want Turkey to stop attacking them."

Erdoğan, stating 'In particular, we need to separate something. Kurds and terrorists' continued: "Kurds are also my citizens. My country is where Kurds live most in the world. The number of Kurds who defected from Kobane to my country during the Obama era were 350 thousand. No one accepted them, but we did. It is the PYD / YPG you refer to as the Kurds. These are terrorist organizations. These are subsidiaries of the PKK. I want to give you some documents in particular. Ferhat Abdi Sahin (Mazlum Kobani) is the foster child of Apo (Abdullah Öcalan) who is the head of the separatist terrorist organization. It is useful for you to know these."
