Enterances of Kars closed to HDP

KARS- Due to the 15 day ban on demonstrations and events declared by the Kars Governorate, the enterances to the city was blockaded by the police. Police do not allow people who come to participate in the program of HDP Co-Chair Pervin Buldan to enter the city.
 
The enterances to the city of Kars was shut down by the law enforcement units following the ban of the governorship. While the people coming to attend the program of Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) are not allowed in the city, police said the ban was on grounds of the governorship ban. Batman Municipality Co-Mayor Songül Korkmaz, who came from Batman to participate in the HDP's program, protested the decision and stated that they were kept for hours at the entrance of the city and their freedom of travel was restricted.
 
The Governorship of Kars has imposed a 15-day ban on demonstrations and events in the city. In the announcement made on the website of the governorship yesterday, it was stated that all demonstrations and events were banned for 15 days effective from 18.00 yesterday. The fact that there have been no bans in 2019 in the website of the governorship, the first ban was announced right before HDP Co-Chair Pervin Buldan came to the city.
