In the Şemzînan (Şemdinli) district of Colemêrg (Hakkari), specialist sergeant Musa Gezer carried out an armed attack on Gülşen Gezer, with whom he was in the process of divorce, and her family. In the attack, 4 people from the same family were killed, while one person was seriously injured. Following the sound of gunfire, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. After an initial examination, the perpetrator, Musa Gezer, who was seriously injured, was taken to hospital.

 

In the attack, Gülşen Gezer, Gezer's wife, along with her siblings Gürkan Demir and Deniz Demir, and her mother Habibe Demir, lost their lives.

 

An investigation has been launched into the incident.
