Êlih Co-Mayor Sönük says they will not accept usurper regime

NEWS CENTER - Êlih Co-Mayor Gülistan Sönük, who was replaced by a trustee, said: “We did not and will not accept this plundering and usurping regime.” 
 
Êlih Co-Mayor Gülistan Sönük, who was replaced with a trustee by the Ministry of Interior, reacted to the decision on her virtual media account. Sönük said: “Our municipality, which we won with the highest vote rate in Turkey in the March 31 elections with the labor of women, youth and our people, has been usurped as of this morning without any notification to us. We did not and will not accept this plundering and usurping regime. Municipalities belong to the people.”
