It took 211 days to hear from Rojnews' Arabic editor Süleyman Ahmet, who was detained by units affiliated with the KDP at the Pêşxabûr (Sêmalka) Border Gate while returning from the Syrian city of Aleppo to the Federated Kurdistan Region on October 25, 2023. Süleyman Ahmet also expressed his gratitude to all organizations, journalists, unions and patriots who participated in the freedom campaign carried out for him. We were very happy to see that he is healthy. He stated that his only demand is to continue public pressure until he released.”
