ISTANBUL - The commemoration that the April 24 Commemoration Platform wanted to hold in Istanbul Kadıköy for the 109th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide was banned by the Istanbul Governorship.

 

The commemoration that the April 24 Commemoration Platform wanted to hold in front of the Süreyya Opera in Kadıköy on the anniversary of the 1915 Armenian Genocide was banned by the Istanbul Governorship. Applications were not allowed by the governorship in the previous two years.
