Daughter of Sabri Kaya: They killed my father openly and blutantly 2020-05-29 13:05:46   ADANA - Stating that his father died from multi-organ failure as a result of the series of negligence, Dilan Kaya said that they will file a criminal complaint against those responsible.   Sabri Kaya, a seriously ill prisoner who was in the T Type Closed Prison No. 2 in Osmaniye, died on 20 May, right after he was released from prison. Dilan Kaya explained about the process to Mesopotamia Agency (MA).   Dilan Kaya who stated that her father died as a result of a series of negligence, said the medication his father vitally needed was not given to him and as a result, he had a heart attack and brain hemorrhage on March 25, 2020. Kaya also told that they told that they could find the medication and give it to them, said the prison administration did not accept it. Kaya reminded that her father was wheelchair-bound after that.   Kaya said: "They did not give this drug that is of vital importance to my father for a month. He had been using it for a decade and that is why he had a heart attack and brain hemorrhage. He lost consciousness and slipped into a coma after that and after keeping him in the ICU for 6 days, they sent him back to the prison."   Stating that the delegation was not convened to give a health report due to the epidemic, and said he was fit to stay in prison, Kaya said: "One of the doctors in Osmaniye State Hospital told us that he can not release a prisoner from prison, that he was afraid to be exiled if he did so."   Recalling that his father was sent to Adana Çukurova University Hospital a few days before he lost his life, Kaya said: "He was admitted to ICU in that hospital. He was in a bad shape. The doctors told us that there is nothing they can do and that he can die any minute. We learned that he was released few hours after the doctors told us he could die. This was an arrangement. They released my father after he died. All the soldiers and guards got lost when he was released. My father was in handcuffs until he died and they didn't let us see him. I will not let this go. I will file criminal complaints against everyone involved. They killed my father openly and blutantly. I will not let this go."     MA / Hamdullah Kesen
