Little Leyla's trial will continue tomorrow 2020-02-20 10:29:05 AĞRI - The second hearing of the lawsuit regarding the death of 4-year-old Leyla Aydemir, whose body was reached 18 days after gone missing in Bezirhane village, will be seen tomorrow. The trial of the 4-year-old Leyla Aydemir, who disappeared in Bezirhane (Bezirgane) village of Ağrı on June 15, 2018 will be held tomorrow in Ağrı 1st Criminal Court. At the first hearing on September 20, 2019, father Nihat Aydemir did not make a complaint about the defendants, while mother Şükran Aydemir stated that she filed a complaint as well as using herright to remain silent.   UNCLE YUSUF AYDEMİR WAS ALSO ARRESTED   Mehmet Ali Aydemir (32), the son of the uncle's father Nihat Aydemir's uncle, was arrested on July 18, 2018 for "deliberate killing". At the first hearing held at Ağrı 1st Criminal Court on September 20, 2019, Mehmet Ali Aydemir's arrest decision continued as it was decided to arrest also Yusuf Aydemir, another defendant who was on trial without imprisonment, due to the his and the suspect's contradictory statements.   RELEASE DUE TO CURRENT EVIDENCE   The court board decided to release Mehmet Ali Aydemir on December 19, 2019 after the first hearing, citing "the current evidence status, the time served in prion and the stage of the file". Yusuf Aydemir is the only imprisoned defendant of the case to be seen tomorrow.
