From Nusaybin to Cizre: We are being displaced and killed again 2019-10-16 11:38:43 ŞIRNAK - Families who had to leave their homes and settle down in Cizre due to the clashes in Nusaybin, stating that they are the ones being displaced and killed again, demanded the war to be over. In the Nusaybin district of Mardin, the border town where clashes took place after the military operation launched against northern and eastern Syria, many families were forced to migrate to the surrounding districts and villages. Some families are starting to return after the conflict has been partially reduced compared to the first days, while some families are waiting for the end of the conflict to go back home. Some of the families in question are currently located in Cizre district of Sirnak.     Çiftçi family with 7 children is amongst many families that had to migrate to Cizre. Mother Şükran Çİftçi who stated that they had to migrate from Nusaybin's Yenişehir Neighborhood to Cizre 4 days ago, reacted to the operation.  Çiftçi stating that the people of Nusaybin are being victimized again, and recalling that the blasts all took place right in front of her, said: "Our neighborhoods were bombed by the soldiers on purpose. We had no life safety. We will be here until the war ends."      Çiftçi mentioning the people of the region have gone through the same ordeal 4 years ago during the curfews, said: "Many people died back then. We were miserable. We were being killed so we had to migrate. We are going through the same thing again. We are being displaced and killed again. A new war has begun before we picked up our pieces from the last time. We don't want anyone to die. We don't want to leave our homes our towns again.    Çiftçi, thanking the people of Cizre that welcomed them with open arms, said: "They know what we are going through because the same thing happened to them 4 years ago. We want this war to be ended before its too late. Many people will die if it continues like this. We will go back home when the war is over."
