Head of departments discharged as municipal employees taken under custody

	VAN - All head of departments were relieved of duty while many municipal employees were taken under custody after the trustee was appointed at the Van Metropolitan Municipality.

	 

	The trustee appointed to the office of elected Van Metropolitan Municipality Co-Mayor Bedia Özgökçe relieved the head of departments appointed during the HDP period. The trustee who relieved 12 head of departments, secretary general and a large number of directors of duty, appointed the people who worked in the previous trustee period. While the trustee appointed Ülker Cem Kaplan, the former secretary general who is known to accept bribes is appointed as the VASKİ general director, Salih Allahverdi was appointed as secretary general.

	 

	 

	According to the information obtained, many houses of the discharged municipal employees were raided by the police early this morning. According to the first information received; All Municipal and Local Government Services Laborers' Union (Tüm-Bel Sen) Van Branch Co-Chair Sukru Kacici, municipal employees Cimen Umit, Cahit Duran, Veysel Engin was taken into custody.During the raid, a ban on lawyers and a confidentiality decision was taken for municipal employees who were detained.

	 

	The detentions in the city continues.

	 

	On the other hand, 32 people, including deputy counselors, are being held at the TEM Branch of the Van Security Directorate. Detainees are expected to be interrogated within the day.
