
Sentenced to 59 years despite the disproved evidence

	DERSİM - Dersim Bar President Kenan Çetin, attorney of Univercity student Baran Barış Korkmaz who was sentenced to 59 years of jail time, stating that they disproved 90 percent of the evidence they had on their client, demanded the unlawfulness to be eliminated.&nbsp;

	Baran Barış Korkmaz (27) was taken under custody while he was visiting his family in Dersim Pertek,then was arrested by the court. Korkmaz was studying International Relations in Adnan Menderes University. Korkmaz was arrested because of a camping cylinder in their neighbor's backyard.&nbsp;

	The police who had an anonymous tip that the camping cylinder was going to be used for making a bomb, raided the house.5 people including the host and Baran Barış was taken under custody during the police raid. Korkmaz was arrested with the accusation of being a member of an illegal organization. Korkmaz recieved life sentence plus 23 years, 2 and a half years after he got arrested.&nbsp;
