Police Intervention in front of the AYM to families who lost their relatives in 2019-06-12 12:41:59 ANKARA - Police intervened to the vigil the relatives of the people who lost their lives in the train accident in Çorlu. One citizen was injured. The first hearing of the train disaster in Çorlu on July 8, 2018, in which 25 people lost their lives and hundreds of people were injured, will be held in Çorlu 1st Heavy Penal Court on 3 July. The families of the people who lost their lives in the accident gathered in front of the Supreme Court where the 4 Turkish State Railways Personel will be prosecuted for involuntary mansalughter and reckless injury.   The families who demanded the people that were nonsuited to be prosecuted, gathered in Ahlatlıbel Atatürk Park to make their statement in front of the Supreme Court. The police prevented the families and the MP's to gather in front of the supreme court and intervened to the crowed where one citizen was injured and taken to hospital.     Ekrem Tuna, who lost his wife Melek Tuna in the accident, said: "I was with my wife when the accident happened, I was injured. I saved 11 people after the accident, but I couldn't save my wife. They were trying to fix the road while my wife was lying under the train. ”
