	ERZURUM - Our imprisoned reporter Dindar Karataş sent message to us from prison and said: "The main reason for the pressure against our agency is that we expose the violations and torture in the region".

	Our agency's reporter Dindar Karataş, who was detained with a raid on his house in Van on 24 November, was arrested on the grounds of his news and phone calls with his sources, on charges of "being a member of a terrorist organization".

	 

	Karataş sent the message from Erzurum H Type Closed Prison. The message of Karataş is as follows: “The main reason for these pressures against our agency is that we expose the violations and torture in the region. As the free press, we have been paying a price for years. We show the way to enlightenment with the real news we have made against the law being pushed into darkness. We will continue to show this way to the people. The free press can never be silenced. "

	 

	Karataş reminded that imprisoned journalists are waiting for a letter of solidarity so that they know they are not forgotten.
